Puerto Pollensa is situated on the north west coast of Mallorca just a short (45 minute) drive from Palma airport. From the airport the new motorway (autovia) heads north from Palma past the town of Inca, extending almost to Pollensa. From there it is just a few miles further north to Puerto Pollensa (the Port).

Originally a fishing village Puerto Pollensa retains the time old tradition of the evening paseo or stroll. On warm, balmy evenings everyone wanders up and down between the marina where the yachts are moored, past the pavement cafes and along the celebrated Pine Walk as far as the elegant Illa d'Or hotel.
